Amman, August 31 (Petra) — Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Azzam Sleit, on Sunday, met with British Ambassador in Amman Peter Millett, and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of telecommunications and information technology between Jordan and Britain.
The meeting dealt with prospects of cooperation between the British and Jordanian companies in the field of telecommunications and information technology.
They also discussed preparations for a communications and information technology forum, which will be held at the Dead Sea in October.
The minister spoke about a number of programs and projects the ministry is working on in the fields of fiber-optics, electronic government and electronic initiatives.
