London-to-Dallas flight makes emergency landing in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla., July 11 (UPI) —

American Airlines Flight 79 en route to Dallas made an emergency landing Friday night in Tulsa, an airline spokesperson said.




The flight, which originated in London, was due to land in Dallas around 7 p.m. local time.




The Boeing 777 reported troubles with the left engine and landed at 6:30 p.m. in Tulsa.




There were 230 passengers and 14 crew members on board the plane, none of which was injured, the airline spokesperson said.
