***Horse Race LiveWire*** Trump: ‘We’re Going to Take Our Country Back from Those People’

Donald Trump postponed his Friday evening rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago due to safety concerns. The Trump campaign said that after meeting with law enforcement officials, Trump decided to postpone the event for the “safety of all the tens of thousands of people that have gathered in and around the area.” Pro-amnesty groups, Black Lives Matter organizers and other left-wing activists had been organizing to disrupt Trump’s rally for the last week.

NYT on Donald Trump’s Real Estate Empire: ‘It’s a Very Successful Garage’

It is impossible to miss when you fly into New York City and spot the golf course in the shadow of the Whitestone Bridge. It is hard to avoid when you stroll along Fifth Avenue, or venture past the skating rink or carousel in Central Park. And it is there in bright lights, no less, when you pass the sleek hotel near the entrance to the Holland Tunnel: the name of Donald J. Trump.

The Jacksonian Temptation: Trump vs. Cruz

Is America witnessing the re-emergence of “Jacksonian” politics? With increasing regularity, pundits are harkening back to the cultural and political movement that brought frontier General Andrew Jackson to the White House in order to explain the changes taking place in the Republican Party. The hero of the Battle of New Orleans is more relevant than ever, it seems.

Mark Levin: Stop The Lies, Marco

A little while back, I argued that Marco Rubio’s tactics in attacking Ted Cruz’s Senate record on immigration and national defense, among other things, were Alinskyite.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — At every campaign stop, Marco Rubio calls it “the biggest lie in American politics” — the notion that Republicans are the party of the super wealthy, and hopelessly out of touch with the working class and minorities.

How Ted Cruz Engineered His Iowa Triumph

At just about 9 p.m. local time, the leadership of Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign moved like a phalanx through the lobby of the Des Moines Marriott Downtown toward vehicles that would transport them to the Iowa State Fairgrounds, where Cruz was holding his caucus-night party. With three-quarters of Iowa’s precincts counted and with the race, according to television networks, still “too close to call,” campaign manager Jeff Roe declared victory.

Cruz Takes the Fight to Trump in New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, N.H.—Now Ted Cruz has to show he can keep it going. After dethroning Donald Trump as the indisputable king of the GOP race with a decisive win in Iowa Monday night, the Texas senator — as well as just about every other candidate in the field — is descending on tiny New Hampshire to make their final appeals before next week’s first-in-the-nation primary.

Why Jeb! Won’t Gain Traction in Texas

Jeb Bush appears to be positioning himself for an Alamo-like stand in the Lone Star State’s March Republican Primary Election. Despite a massive TV ad buy, it is highly unlikely the man who is brother of the former Texas governor turned president and the son of another Texan who became president will succeed.
