Claim: Israeli Aircraft Struck Islamic State Targets in Egypt’s Sinai

TEL AVIV – A news agency known for its close ties to the Islamic State claimed that Israeli aircraft on Tuesday struck outposts of Wilayat Sinai, the IS’s branch in the Egyptian Sinai. With no documentary evidence to back up its claim, the Amaq News Agency reported that seven “Israeli drones, war-planes and helicopters” bombed targets in the IS-heavy north-eastern Sinai

Jerusalem Arabs ‘Planned Islamic State-Inspired Attack’

JERUSALEM – Two Arab residents of eastern Jerusalem were charged on Monday with planning an attack on security forces in the city under the banner of the Islamic State. The Jerusalem State Attorney’s Office filed the indictment against Mu’asab Alian, 23, and Samir Abd Rabo, 38, who face charges including, conspiracy to aid an enemy in time of war, membership in a terrorist organization and contact with a foreign agent.
