On Thursday, the North Korean government culminated the celebration of “Struggle Against US Imperialism Month” with a large stadium commemoration of the anniversary of the Korean War. In addition to propaganda significantly more belligerent than its usual fare and praise for communist leader Kim Il Sung and current dictator Kim Jong Un, the nation’s museums were teeming with individuals observing the holiday.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A Department of Defense (DoD) lab sent out live samples of anthrax to 51 other laboratories in 17 U.S. states, Washington D.C., Australia, South Korea, and Canada, Pentagon officials told reporters on Wednesday.

The Pentagon had to admit, Wednesday, that it had accidentally sent live anthrax samples to nearly a dozen labs across the country and at least one overseas. They are now working with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to contain the shipments.
