On March 12, House Democrats drafted a letter to the ATF that urges them to revive and implement the ban on the M855 round for AR-15s.

The ATF’s basis for banning the M855 round requires that it can be fired out of an AR-15 pistol.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor ruled that the federal interstate handgun sales ban is unconstitutional.
