Presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) is the winner of the reader’s poll for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. The Democratic Socialist received 10.2 percent of the vote. In second place was Malala Yousafza, recipient of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, with 5.2 percent. Pope Francis came in third with 3.7 percent of votes.

Poll: Mitch McConnell Is The Most Unpopular U.S. Senator

The poll released by Morning Consult found that Mitch McConnell is the only senator that has a disapproval rating higher than 50 percent. McConnell has a 52 percent disapproval rating among Kentucky voters, while only 38 percent approve of his job performance.
