An issue that has become known as the “Ferguson effect” is causing police officers to hesitate and question their judgment in situations where the use of force would be proper. The phenomenon occurred following the justified 2014 police shooting of a black man in Ferguson, Missouri, and the protests and riots afterwards. A new police survey from the Pew Research Center confirms what many media outlets have been reporting–the “Ferguson effect” is real.

Walmart Selling Black Lives Matter Shirts with ‘Bulletproof’ on Them

Walmart is selling Black Lives Matter clothing and other items amid calls to designate the movement as a hate or terrorist effort. The retailer has banned sales of items bearing a Confederate flag, and an “All Lives Matter” bumper sticker saying it was “offensive.” Some of the Black Lives Matter clothing items also have the word “Bulletproof” on them.

Of those arrested, some are being charged with throwing incendiary objects at security forces and others for “trying to burn down” their towns.

Jorge Ramos told a crowd of nearly 1,000 illegal aliens, DREAMERs and their supporters “I think you the DREAMers are the Rosa Parks of this time.” The crowd was gathered to show support for President Obama’s executive amnesty programs — Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA). #BlackLivesMatter Graffiti Hits University of Texas

Five different areas on the University of Texas at Austin (UT) campus were hit with graffiti bearing Blacks Lives Matter markings. The graffiti appeared after a Black Lives Matter activist shot himself on the steps of the Ohio statehouse, and after a 17-year-old black man was shot and killed during a confrontation with Austin Police officers on Monday.
