Border Patrol agents concluded a high-speed chase with two drug traffickers by pulling them out of a burning vehicle and saving their lives. The chase began when U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Harlingen station spotted smugglers loading drugs into a minivan near the border community of El Ranchito, just off the Rio Grande, information provided to Breitbart Texas by Border Patrol revealed.

A truck driver who federal agents claim was caught with 35 illegal immigrants in his truck is now facing human smuggling charges. U.S. Border Patrol agents working at a checkpoint about 80 miles north of the river arrested Muchiri Rayheed Rhodes this weekend, after they found 35 illegal immigrants hiding in his tractor trailer, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed.

A special task force from the Mexican Army with the support of Federal Police and Fuerza Tamaulipas (vetted state cops), tried to arrest the Gulf Cartel’s plaza boss, according to sources with the Tamaulipas coordination group.

At least twenty cartel gunmen intercepted and threatened a gubernatorial candidate at gunpoint in the Mexican state of Guerrero forcing him to cancel part of his campaign tour. The attack took place when Luis Walton Aburto, the candidate for Movimiento Ciudadano (Citizen’s Movements) was traveling with his campaign staff and supporters and a group of cartel gunmen stopped them at gunpoint in the town of Chilapa Del Alvarez.
