A lawsuit being fought in a Texas State Court accuses current and former Texas border county officials of lowering property tax rates for their allies as a way of providing favors within the political elite. Cartel gunmen in Matamoros have thrown a grenade at a Mexican TV station near the Texas border for the second time in as many months. The latest attack took place at the Televisa station.
