Border Patrol Agents Find Illegal Immigrant Stuffed in Suitcase

FALFURRIAS, Texas — Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol found an illegal immigrant stuffed inside a suitcase at an immigration checkpoint 80 miles north from the Texas border. As part of the case, agents also arrested two other illegal immigrants and three suspected human smugglers that were traveling in the same vehicle.

Deported Alien Who Kidnapped and Raped Child Caught Back in Texas

MCALLEN, TEXAS — A previously deported criminal alien from El Salvador who was convicted of kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old at gunpoint has made his way back to Texas across the porous U.S.-Mexico border. Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol arrested 34-year-old Rene Vladimir Escobar Bautista over the weekend near the border city of Hidalgo, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed.

Militia Groups Along the Border Continue to Spark Controversy

Groups of gunmen are patrolling the border in an effort to “secure” the land that Washington officials will not. The groups, known as militias, have been around for some time and in recent years the various groups have become more noticeable as the topic of border security becomes more heated. Generally militia groups patrol specific areas of the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to detain or turn back human smugglers and drug traffickers. Mainstream media outlets generally demonize the groups claiming that they are extremist and racists.

Mexican Authorities Rescue Kidnapping Victim South of Texas Border

Mexican authorities in the border state of Tamaulipas had a busy weekend rescuing a kidnapping victim, seizing a tractor-trailer full of stolen fuel, and seizing more than a ton of marijuana throughout the state. Soldiers with the Mexican army were carrying out routine patrols in the port city of Madero in the southern part of Tamaulipas when they came across the kidnapping, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the Tamaulipas government revealed. Tamaulipas is the Mexican state that is immediately south of Texas against the Gulf of Mexico.

Previously Deported Human Smuggler Arrested in Texas with Guns

MCALLEN, Texas — A previously deported criminal alien with a conviction for human smuggling has been arrested in Texas with firearms. A traffic stop by Texas State Troopers near Rio Grande City resulted in agents with Homeland Security Investigations arresting and charging 34-year-old Jose Romero Garcia with being an illegal alien in possession of firearms, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed.

DOJ: Mexican Cartel Used Middle Eastern Honor System to Launder U.S. Currency

Court documents filed in federal court claim that a suspected drug traffickers linked to Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel used a Middle Eastern honor system to launder drug proceeds. Known as a Hawala, members of the conspiracy would be hired by cartel members in Canada and Mexico to move drug proceeds through the honor system that does not leave a paper trail as couriers move the money between countries.

Gulf Cartel Starved 44 Migrants Trapped in Border Stash House

REYNOSA, Tamaulipas — Mexican authorities rescued 44 would-be illegal immigrants who cartel members were holding against their will at a stash house near the Texas border. Two Illegal Aliens Found Guilty of Murdering Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry

After hours of deliberation, jurors found two illegal aliens guilty on all counts in connection with the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
