Chris Christie Announces Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

President Obama is scheduled to make an appearance in Newark, New Jersey Monday to discuss the “cycle of incarceration.” Meanwhile, Gov. Christie offered a bit of counter-programming Monday morning in Camden, NJ when he announced the creation of an annual law enforcement appreciation day in the state.

Chris Christie To Obama: Nice Of You To Show Up

President Obama plans to stop by the Integrity House in Newark, N.J., to press for criminal justice reform for non-violent drug offenders. The Integrity House is a halfway house and drug-treatment center for criminals. “Nice of you to show up,” notes Governor Chris Christie, who has spent a large part of his two terms in New Jersey pushing for criminal justice reform and drug addiction treatment.

Christie Smacks ‘Black Lives Matter’ Radicals — Again

GOP Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie was at the Iowa state fair grounds on Saturday and was emphatic that he was not withdrawing from his position on the Black Lives Matter movement. He also said he was not quitting his presidential campaign. Christie hit the Black Lives Matter movement again while he was speaking at the fair.

As he has taken on the “Washington Cartel,” Ted Cruz took on the left-of-center and “mainstream” media during the CNBC GOP presidential debate on Wednesday night. Lousy Moderators Help Second-Tier GOP Candidates Break Out At CNBC Debate

Just about every pre-debate warm-up analysis predicted it would be a make-or-break debate for the second-tier Republican candidates… and it was. All four were aided enormously by the horrible amateur-hour of CNBC’s moderators, who should be looking for new jobs after their ridiculous performance, spewing Democrat National Committee talking points disguised as questions and talking over the candidates.

The consensus winner of the CNBC GOP Debate in Boulder, Colorado was Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in second. But New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie deserved the “most improved” award with a performance that could vault him back into serious contention.
