Idaho Sheriff: The 2nd Amendment Is Your Concealed Carry Permit

Idaho is one of the many states now considering a repeal of the requirement for a concealed carry permit in order to carry a firearm in public. Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler supports the move, suggesting the 2nd Amendment acts as citizens’ concealed carry permit.

Mall Reacts to Terror Threat by Demanding Shoppers Remain Unarmed

Over the weekend, the Somalia terror group al-Shabaab released a video calling for attacks that included targeting Minnesota’s Mall of America (MOA). In response, MOA reminded shoppers that law-abiding citizens with concealed carry handgun permits are barred from carrying guns on their premises for self-defense.

NYT Claims Concealed Carry Holders are Bad Guys with Guns

On February 11 The New York Times armed itself with a report from the Violence Policy Center (VPC) and went to war against concealed carry permit holders, associating said permit holders with murder and other crimes and raising the specter that concealed carry permit holders may actually be the “bad guys” with guns in a scenario where “good guys” with guns are promised.

WaPo: Guns May Serve Defensive Purpose, but CDC Must Confirm

On January 16, The Washington Post (WaPo) reported that guns may serve a defensive purpose—that defensive gun uses may be slightly higher than 3 million each year—but we will not know until the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) begin their research into guns as a public health issue.
