The Austin Police Department arrested a woman last night after a “Molotov cocktail” was thrown at pro-life activists praying outside of an Austin Planned Parenthood abortion facility. A Molotov cocktail is a type of homemade incendiary device usually incorporating gasoline, a breakable glass bottle, and a wick that is lit before the device is thrown.

Texas Bar Alleges Prosecutorial Misconduct in Case of Man Executed in 2004

The State Bar of Texas has filed a formal accusation of misconduct against John H. Jackson, the former Navarro County Assistant District Attorney who convicted Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in February 2004 for the arson murder of his three young daughters. The Bar had been investigating Jackson for months, and he is accused of obstruction of justice, making false statements and concealing evidence favorable to Willingham’s defense. Pursuant to the disciplinary petition filed by the Texas Bar, Jackson has fifty days from the date of service of the petition to respond.

Cops in Ferguson ‘Accidentally’ Shot

Twenty-year-old suspect, Jeffrey Williams, who was arrested for shooting two police officers outside of the Ferguson, Missouri, police station during a recent protest, is crying foul, and has said through his attorney that he did not intentionally shoot the police officers, according to Fox News.

Chicago’s Weekend Violence Tally: 22 Shot, 3 Dead

The warm weather has now firmly taken hold of the Windy City, bringing residents to parks and the lakefront, but along with the welcome warmth some neighborhoods have also seen a rise in violence. Since Friday 22 residents have been shot and three killed in Chicago.
