VIDEOS: BLM Attacks #WalkAway Event in Texas

Black Lives Matter agitators attacked a #WalkAway Movement Rescue America Rally in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday. Tweeted videos show a man wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt as he allegedly breached backstage security to disrupt the rally. He then appeared to assault a security guard for the conservative #WalkAway Movement.

Dallas Police Officer Dies from Home Depot Shooting

Mayor Mike Rawlings announced that Dallas Police Officer Rogelio Santander died after being shot in the head at a Home Depot on the city’s northeast side Tuesday afternoon. The second wounded officer and the Home Depot loss prevention officer remain in critical condition, the mayor said during a meeting of the City Council.

Dallas Names New Police Chief, First Woman to Serve

Dallas finally named its new police chief on Wednesday. City Manager T.C. Broadnax announced he hired Detroit Deputy Police Chief Ulysha Renee Hall and, in doing so, she becomes the first woman to serve as the department’s top cop.

Wounded Baton Rouge Officer Sues Black Lives Matter, Five Leaders

A police officer who was badly wounded in the ambush and execution of three Baton Rouge officers on July 17, 2016, filed a lawsuit against Black Lives Matter (BLM) and five of its leaders on Friday. The officer urges that BLM and its leaders “not only, incited the violence against police in retaliation for the death of black men shot by police, but also did nothing to dissuade the ongoing violence and injury to police.”

One Dead, Several Injured in U. Texas Stabbing Incident

First responders in Austin, Texas, reported that one person is dead and several others are injured after a knife-wielding suspect went on a rampage at the University of Texas campus. The suspect appeared calm, “nonchalant” after police arrested him according to a witness. Police described the four victims to be three white and one “Asian” male college students.

‘Sanctuary’ Texas Police Chiefs Decry Bill That Could Jail Them

The police chiefs in six of Texas’ largest cities responded to the anti-sanctuary city bill passed by the Texas House on Thursday by signing a letter of opposition and releasing it to the press on Friday. The chiefs said the issue is one for the federal government and representatives are “pandering.”
