3rd Poll Shows Sanders in Dead Heat with Clinton, Down by 2

A Field Poll released on Thursday shows Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) trailing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by two points in the California primary, 45-43, a statistical dead heat. It is the third poll in a week to show a two-point margin between the two — a virtual tie, within the poll’s 3.2% margin of error.

A new Field Poll shows that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remains favored to win the California primary but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is gaining. Clinton leads Sanders 47% to 41% — a lead that has narrowed sharply in recent months.

Field Poll–Californians Believe Terror Attack ‘Very Likely’

According to a new Field poll taken roughly one month after the December terrorist attack in San Bernardino in which 14 people were massacred and another 20 wounded, 33% of California voters believe it very likely that a terrorist attack will occur in the state in the near future, a 50% increase from 2002, when only 21% felt that way.

The leader in the race to replace retiring U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in America’s most liberal state is… Republican Condoleezza Rice, according to a new Field Poll released Wednesday. Rice, the former Secretary of State and Stanford don, is backed by 49% of voters–ahead of Attorney General Kamala Harris, the liberal Democrat who was the first to declare.
