President Donald Trump threatened to cut aid to the Palestinian Authority on Tuesday with two tweets that criticized Palestinian leaders for showing “no appreciation or respect” to the U.S. and being “no longer willing to talk peace.”

Planned Parenthood Asks Judge to Block Medicaid Cuts by Texas

Lawyers for Planned Parenthood filed an application for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction late Friday night asking the judge in the litigation over Medicaid cuts to prevent Texas from defunding Medicaid to the abortion provider. Officials in Texas took action after gruesome videos filmed at various Planned Parenthood facilities, including the mega-abortion facility in Houston, Texas were released.

China Condemns NDAA Proposal for ‘Senior Military Exchanges’ with Taiwan

The Chinese Foreign Ministry and the nation’s state-run media have condemned Congress’s approval of new high-level military talks between the United States and Taiwan. The rebuke follows a month of vocal dismay in Beijing over President-elect Donald Trump’s questioning of the “One China” policy, which denies Taiwan’s sovereignty.

Texas Aborts Planned Parenthood’s Medicaid Funding

The State of Texas gave Planned Parenthood final notice on Tuesday that it would no longer allow it to participate in the Medicaid program in the Lone Star State. The letter from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) said it was “not qualified to provide medical services in a professionally competent, safe, legal, and ethical manner.”

Republicans Plan to Blast Democrats for Blocking DHS Funding

For the past week, President Obama and Senate Democrats have spent the past two weeks blasting Republicans after the House passed a bill which included two different proposals to defund Obama’s executive actions on immigration.
