Texas Fights Open Borders Advocates on Sanctuary City Ban

Texas took its fight for the State’s new anti-sanctuary jurisdiction ban to the appellate courts. A judge appointed by then-President Bill Clinton blocked the law’s prohibition on ignoring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers and provisions that address policies that “materially limit” the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Pennsylvania police arrested a previously deported criminal alien from Connecticut suspected in the murder of his wife, assault of another woman, and kidnapping his daughter. The entire State of Connecticut has been certified by the Department of Justice (DOJ) as a sanctuary jurisdiction.

An illegal alien who had been previously deported multiple times and then was let out of jail because of a government processing error is now set to stand trial for murder. The Mexican national allegedly killed five people after immigration officials sent a detainer to the wrong jail.
