Report: $64,370 Cost to Resettle One Middle Eastern Refugee In U.S.

The estimated cost to resettle an average, single Middle Eastern refugee in the U.S. over the first five years is $64,370 — or 12 times the United Nations estimates it costs to support a refugee staying in a neighboring Middle Eastern country, according to an analysis from the Center for Immigration Studies.

Obama’s DHS Plans Work-Permit Give-Away to Foreign Professionals

The Department of Homeland Security is officially disavowing the agency’s June memo that urged U.S. employers be given the ability to quickly hire in-country foreign professionals and foreign graduates instead of job-seeking American millennials. But agency officials are working on another memo on the same topic, said Todd Breasseale, the department’s acting Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs.

Obama’s Secret Migration Plan: Work-Permits For Millions of Foreign Professionals

President Barack Obama’s deputies have drafted a new amnesty memo that would quickly allow employers to get work-permits for a huge number of lower-wage foreign graduates. If approved by Obama, roughly 3 million guest-workers, students and migrants — including perhaps 1.5 million college-grads — would be immediately eligible for the work-permits, at an up-front cost of only $580 per foreign hire.
