Illegal Immigrant, MS-13 Gang Member Assaults Police Officer in Unprovoked Attack

An MS-13 gang member in the country illegally has been arrested for assaulting a police officer in an unprovoked attack. According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old illegal immigrant Jose Misael Reyes-Reyes was arrested Thursday after he approached and punched Deputy First Class Greg Morton — who at the time was seated in a marked police vehicle.

MS-13 Gang Members Indicted in Maryland Murder Plots Were In US Illegally

A federal grand jury indicted Aldair Garcia-Miranda, 21, Selvin Raymundo Salazar, 23, and Raul Ernesto Landaverde-Giron, 25, accusing them of being members of the La Mara Salvatrucha gang, also known as MS-13, and for allegedly taking part in several murders, attempted murders, and other extortion and racketeering activities. Two are not U.S. citizens or have any other legal resident status or work permits.

MS-13 is an international criminal gang composed primarily of immigrants or descendants from El Salvador, and is active in multiple areas throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, and Canada. Breitbart News contacted the U.S. Attorney’s Office to inquire about the immigration status of the defendants but had not received a response at the time of publication.

MS-13 Gang Members Plead Guilty in Near-Beheading of Texas Teen

HOUSTON, Texas – Two El Salvadorian men who are members of the hyper-violent MS-13 gang pleaded guilty in federal court to the near beheading murder of a 16-year-old Houston teen. The murder occurred in the woods of the Sam Houston National Forrest in Walker County near Huntsville, Texas. Because the crime occurred in a national park, the murder became a federal crime.

Nearly 5,000 MS-13 Gang Members Arrested by ICE over Past 5 Years

Nearly 5,000 members of the hyper-violent MS-13 gang have been arrested in the United States since 2005 according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) statement released on Wednesday. The arrest occurred as part of “Operation Community Shield” which paired Homeland Security agents with other federal law agencies, state county and even city police targeting gang members. The numbers are staggering. 36,000 total arrests linking to 2,600 gangs. 46 were repeat violent offenders, and more than 6,600 firearms taken off the streets.
