31 Border Patrol Agents in Texas Recognized for Heroism

Officials honored 31 U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector during a ceremony held Tuesday night in south Texas. The ceremony recognized acts of bravery and life-saving efforts of the agents in eight separate incidents.

Brain-Eating Amoeba Reported in Rio Grande River Near Laredo

Health officials are reported a brain-eating amoeba was found in the Rio Grande River along the Texas border with Mexico. Mexican health officials in Tamaulipas warned people to refrain from swimming in or bathing in the river that is used by many to illegally enter the United States.

Border Patrol Agents Risk All to Save 4 Drowning Illegal Aliens

U.S. Border Patrol agents in Laredo, Texas, risked their lives by jumping into the Rio Grande River to rescue four illegal aliens who nearly drowned crossing from Mexico. Though heavily unreported, Border Patrol agents frequently put their lives at risk to rescue illegal aliens who have put themselves in dangerous situations.

Lubbock Mayor Shocked by Border Tour: ‘More Porous Than I Imagined’

Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson toured the U.S.-Mexico border with Border Patrol agents and Breitbart Texas Director Brandon Darby. Despite heavy rainfall, Robertson got a first-hand look at just how wide open the border is and what agents have to deal with in attempting to secure our border. Robertson is currently in a primary runoff for the Texas CD-19 seat left open by retiring Randy Neugebauer and the mayor has emerged as a champion for the Border Patrol agents’ cause.
