South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) walked back its initial report that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un brutally executed his defense minister Hyon Yong Chol for sleeping during meetings. Now they believe the dictator purged him, but he could still be alive.

North Korean Defense Minister Hyon Yong Chol, on the job for less than a year, allegedly developed a habit of falling asleep at public events. He made the mistake of doing this at an event attended by the communist dungeon state’s dictator Kim Jong-un, whose limited sense of humor about perceived insults was amply demonstrated to Hollywood last year.

North Korea welcomed 650 foreigners to participate in a marathon in Pyongyang, the capital of the Hermit Kingdom. Americans were among the foreigners drawn to the peninsula for the event.

Obama Nukes Own Iran Deal in NPR Interview

President Barack Obama has granted an interview to National Public Radio in an attempt to sell the Iran “framework” to a skeptical public. In the process, he compares the agreement to a real-estate deal–a poor analogy for a man who called his own last property purchase deal “boneheaded” after involving indicted (now convicted) bag Chicago man Tony Rezko. Obama also provided at least five big reasons that Congress–whose opposition is growing–should reject the Iran deal.
