‘Blue Lives Matter’ Pro-Police Rally in Hollywood

On Saturday, roughly 100 LAPD officers joined other citizens to march through Hollywood in a show of support for the LAPD and its members. The rally was organized by the Los Angeles Police Protective League; participants wore T-shirts emblazoned, “Blue Lives Matter” and carried signs reading “Police Lives Matter”, and “They bleed blue.”

Church Prays Over Police Department

After Sunday services, some 350 church goers made their way three blocks from the church building to the front steps of police headquarters on Columbia Avenue, where they were met by the chief of police and several on duty officers, who warmly received them. “I’ve met with dozens of police officers and federal agents in the last two months and heard from them how they have felt a increasing sense of danger and a loss of support from the community,” the church pastor tells Breitbart News.

Former Baltimore Police Commissioner Slams Police: They ‘Took a Knee’

On Wednesday night, former Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts told a crowd at Mount St. Mary’s University that police “took a knee” after riots in April, blaming their activity for rising crime rates that ended in his firing. Batts said, “Part of the crime rate increase is that the police officers at some point took a knee, and they are doing that like other officers.”
