
A felony criminal district court judge in Travis County, Texas, was shot outside her home last night. Judge Julie Kocurek is also a former prosecutor. It is unknown whether the shooting is related to her duties as a criminal judge or prosecutor.

A Dallas County, Texas Assistant District Attorney has been arrested for alleged drunk driving. A sworn statement by officers said the prosecutor called the officers racist and members of the Ku Klux Klan. He is also accused of calling a supervising black officer an “Uncle Tom.”
