How ISIS Makes Money from the Black Market

Imagine: you are window-shopping on a quiet street, perhaps in London or Paris or New York. Something remarkable catches your eye: an ancient coin, a gold chain, a tiny figurine. Impulsively, you enter the shop, where the owner explains to you that the sculpture comes originally from Mesopotamia, that the necklace is Byzantine. It isn’t inexpensive, but the shopkeeper has guaranteed its provenance and the price seems fair; and besides, you quite love it. You say yes, and leave the shop with your new treasure tucked safely in a bag.

The Friend of My Enemy is My Enemy — Unless It’s Iran

While it is said the enemy of my enemy is my friend, what status then attaches to the friend of my enemy? Dr. Sebastian Gorka on Fox: It’s Time to Ditch the ‘Lone Wolf’ Jihadi Label

On Saturday, Breitbart National Security contributor and Major General Horner Chair of Military Theory at the Marine Corps University Dr. Sebastian Gorka told Fox News viewers that the key to defeating jihadism is to target it as an ideology. On Fox News today, Dr. Gorka expanded that concept, calling for law enforcement and media to “ditch” the “lone wolf” label, as it obscures the one thing that ties all independent American jihadists to each other: ideology.

Amid New Wave of Attacks, Egypt Strengthens U.S. Ties

In a recent conversation, a senior Egyptian security official stated that Egypt needs the technological tools to monitor the borders, especially the western borders, “that is where large numbers of recruits and terrorists come. We have to monitor people and arms smuggling. Tunisia is the largest recruiter of the Mujahedeen,” he said.
