ISIS Films Torture of Syrian Boy, Kidnaps 500 Children in Iraq

A 14-year-old Syrian boy recently told the BBC the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) filmed militants torturing him to use in propaganda. Only a few days ago, local officials in Iraq’s Anbar and Diyala provinces told Turkish state outlet Anadolu Agency the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) kidnapped almost 500 children to use as suicide bombers.

UN Official: Rise in Saudi Arabian Executions ‘Disturbing’

Christof Heyns, the United Nations Special Raporteur of Extrajudicial Summary and Arbitrary Executions, recently spoke out against the rise in executions in Saudi Arabia. “It is certainly very disturbing that there is such a fast pace of executions at the moment,” Heyns told AFP. “If it continues at this pace we will have double the number of executions, or more than double the number of executions, that we had last year.”

Turkey Enters Yemeni Fray with ‘Humanitarian Aid’ After Condemning Iranian Intervention

The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that the nation had already begun sending “humanitarian aid” relief packages to refugees fleeing the war-torn nation of Yemen, and that it was preparing to continue sending food and medicine to the region. It marks the first Turkish presence in a war in which Iran and Saudi Arabia are both backing opposite sides of a civil war.

While the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS) has made major inroads in the city of Ramadi and territories increasingly close to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Kurdish forces backed by American airstrikes have reported major progress in the north of the country, with the Iraqi government reporting that an American airstrike has killed the ISIS governor of Mosul.

Multiple Nigerian and international news outlets are reporting that the nation has fired between 200-290 soldiers for alleged “cowardice” while conducting operations against jihadist terror group Boko Haram, a sacking numerous soldiers are protesting as unfair, as they were improperly armed and directed during said operations, they claim.

CNN: ISIS Massacres Muslim Children
