Texas Senate Votes to Wipe Out State Refugee Office

The arrival of refugees in the Lone Star State, most particularly Syrian refugees, has been a source of consternation for Texans and the state’s Governor. Activists pushed back against Governor Greg Abbott’s order to stop the state from helping to resettle Syrian refugees. The Texas attorney general filed suit against the federal government. Now the Texas Senate has voted to eradicate the State’s refugee office.

Survey: Largest Texas County Turning Blue

HOUSTON, Texas — A survey from Rice University says that 52 percent of Harris County (Houston area) residents have now declared themselves as Democratic or to lean Democratic. Only thirty percent declare themselves to be Republican.

Member of German Left Youth Party Apologizes to Refugees on Facebook After Alleged Sexual Assault by Migrant

Selin Gören, member of the “Linksjugend Solid,” a far-left German youth organization, was reportedly sexually assaulted by a refugee on January 27. After an initial false report that she had been assaulted by “foreigners and Germans alike,” she revised her story before taking to Facebook to apologise for any “racism” that might be caused by the revelation that her alleged assailant was a migrant.
