Street Art Exposing Fentanyl Crisis Hits L.A. Landmarks Ahead of Oscars

With the Oscars days away, street art hit various iconic spots throughout Hollywood and West L.A. Wednesday shining a spotlight on America’s fentanyl epidemic and not-so-subtly hitting at the politicians who might be responsible for it, including President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), and Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Most notably, the eye-popping artwork landed in the district of sitting Congressman and U.S. Senate candidate Adam Schiff, who is also portrayed in the art.

‘Hollywood Jews Are Too Silent’: Anti-Iran Deal Street Art Hits L.A.

Several street art posters appeared in West Los Angeles ahead of a rally Sunday against the new Iran nuclear deal. The posters, apparently by conservative guerilla artist Sabo, The posters target the new Iran deal, though there are some that take on the latest Planned Parenthood scandal, or the Obama administration in general.

Donald Trump has become the center of a new street art campaign, with work that can be seen all around Los Angeles. Today, Friday July 10, the Republican presidential candidate will be speaking to Hollywood conservatives at an event, and the Coalition for Humane Immigrants Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), has plans to protest.
