Teen Allegedly Pulls Fake Gun, Gets Shot With Real One

On June 5 a man and woman walked out of Shells restaurant in Tampa, Florida, and were allegedly confronted by two teens–one of whom was armed–demanding the couple hand over money and cell phones. The man pulled his concealed carry handgun and shot the teen who was holding the gun.

Everytown Supporter: We Will Never Know if Gun Would Have Saved Carol Bowne’s Life

On June 5, the Courier Post reported that Everytown for Gun Safety supporter Jane Shivas, who is also executive director of the New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women, responded to the stabbing death of New Jersey’s Carol Bowne by saying, “We will never know whether Carol would be alive today if she had received her gun permit and purchased a gun.”
