The movement comes after four undercover videos — two this week — showing top executives at Planned Parenthood describing gruesome abortion procedures that occur in their clinics nationwide in order to sell the organs and tissue of unborn babies.

In the letter, the senators requested Burwell confirm the commencement of “a thorough internal review of the compliance of the Department and Planned Parenthood – one of the Department’s grantees – with all relevant and applicable federal statutes, regulations, and other requirements.”

At a weekend event in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa, Dr. Ben Carson seemed to draw the biggest crowd of reporters and supporters. When asked what he plans to do to continue to rise in the polls, Carson told Breitbart News, “Be myself and if people like that, I’ll rise – and if they don’t I’ll fall.”

“I’m looking forward to bringing together our great line up of speakers and caucus-goers alike to hear what these leaders have to say about how to get our country growing again and what we need to do to ensure America remains a strong, stabilizing force around the globe,” Ernst told Breitbart News.

The bill would provide former presidents with lifetime federal benefits of $200,000 and pay $200,000 per year as an allowance, a total of $400,000 a year. But if a former president were to earn more than $400,000 in a year, the amount would be deducted dollar for dollar.

Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA) are joining to introduce bipartisan legislation that would provide temporary, emergency authorization of defense services and training to the Kurdistan Regional Government.
