Our tax dollars are being well spent at National Public Radio, a left-wing news outlet that has obviously tolerated and enabled a toxic culture of sexual misconduct against women for quite some time. You can now add NPR icon John Hockenberry to a list that also includes David Sweeney, NPR’s chief news editor; Garrison Keillor, NPR icon; WNYC hosts Leonard Lopate and Jonathan Schwartz; and Michael Orsekes, NPR’s senior vice president and editorial director.

After Los Angeles radio host Leeann Tweeden accused Sen. Al Franken of forcing his tongue down her throat and groping her while she slept, a Slate writer is calling on Franken to step down immediately as “a test of the Democratic Party’s consistency, honesty, and decency.”
