‘Breitbart News Daily’: Dr. Ben Carson, Michelle Malkin, Armstrong Williams

On the November 10, Breitbart News Daily show on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from 6AM to 9AM EST, host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon will host and interview a number of guests. The program is the first live, conservative radio enterprise to air seven days a week. Sirius XM Vice President for news and talk Dave Gorab called the show “the conservative news show of record.”

Obama: Arne Duncan Has ‘Delivered Some Incredible Results’

Obama’s comments appear to be a reference to the Common Core standards – though he does not call the reform by name, likely because the unpopular initiative is now often described as “toxic” and “poisonous.” The president nevertheless adopts the usual pro-Common Core position that the nationalized standards are higher or more rigorous than other standards – although there is no independent research that validates that claim.

Students Boycott, Destroy Newspaper that Criticized Black Lives Matter

A group of students at Wesleyan University are demanding “safe space” for students of color and declaring they intend to “dispose of” copies of the school newspaper found on campus until their demands are met. The demands arose after the paper ran an opinion piece critical of the Black Lives Matter movement last week.

According to the New York Times, while Dale Russakoff’s new book, The Prize: Who’s in Charge of America’s Schools? has just hit bookstores Tuesday, it is already “a source of enormous contention.” It begins in 2010 when Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg became the subject of much media attention as he announced on Oprah that he would throw $100 million into Newark, New Jersey’s failing public school system.

American Export To Canada: Left-Wing Advocacy

The Ford, Tides, and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation have granted tens of millions of dollars to left-wing political agitation groups in Canada in recent years. The beneficiary groups vary in their focuses of public policy prescriptions. The ostensible objectives of these groups, as indicated by their self-descriptions, include advocacy for “clean energy transition,” “ecological and equitable choices,” “restor(ing) and preservin(ing) the environment,” “social, economic, and environmental justice” and “indigenous sovereignty.”

Archbishop: No Equivalence Between Abortion And Other Social Justice Issues

The archbishop went on to explain that while nearly all Catholic dioceses in the United States – including his own – spend far more time and talent on providing social services to the poor rather than on opposing abortion, the fact remains that “children need to survive the womb before they can have needs like food, shelter, immigration counseling and good health care.”
