Tennessee Gov. Haslam Not Yet Offering Constitutional Challenge to Syrian Refugee Settlement

Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Haslam is apparently off the list of possible plaintiffs—governors of the 12 “Wilson-Fish alternative program” states where non-profit VOLAGS, not state governments, run the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program—the Thomas More Law Center says it is looking to represent in a constitutional legal challenge to the program.

Church Prays Over Police Department

After Sunday services, some 350 church goers made their way three blocks from the church building to the front steps of police headquarters on Columbia Avenue, where they were met by the chief of police and several on duty officers, who warmly received them. “I’ve met with dozens of police officers and federal agents in the last two months and heard from them how they have felt a increasing sense of danger and a loss of support from the community,” the church pastor tells Breitbart News.

Mississippi ISIS Recruit Praised Chattanooga Terrorist ‘Brother’

The latest would-be ISIS recruits are a couple from Mississippi, 19-year-old Jaelyn Delshaun Young and 21-year-old Muhammad Oda Daklalla. According to an unsealed criminal complaint reported by ABC News, “The FBI says the couple planned for months to travel to Turkey in order to slip into Syria and join ISIS.”

Navy Petty Officer Randall Smith, the Fifth Hero of Chattanooga

The five men who were killed in Chattanooga were heroes, not just because they died in service to their country, but because of what they did while they were alive.
