The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking help from the public in identifying a “person of interest” (shown above) in connection with a car fire on the grounds of the Texas Capitol. The vehicle had been identified earlier on Friday by a Twitter user as belonging to a Texas House Sergeant at Arms employee, James “Trey” Morgan.

A car burst into flames just outside of the Texas State Capitol in Austin right after 2 p.m. on Friday. The car was parked on the south side of the Capitol outside the entrance to the building. The source of the car fire, and any danger to the building, or those in it, is under investigation.

The first ever statewide Texas Tax Day Tea Party Rally will be held Wednesday, April 15, in Austin. It is expected to draw nearly 100 constitutionally-minded, limited government conservative and other like-minded patriot groups.
