Joy Behar Defends Hillary: I Would ‘Turn on’ Women Who Cheated With My Husband

Monday on ABC’s “The View,” while discussing if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump should go after his opponent Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for how she attacked the women who accused her husband former President Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct, co-host Joy Behar said she would “turn on the women” if her husband was cheating.

Partial transcript as follows:

PAULA FARIS:  You talk about things we’re going to hear more about, and the fact that he did leave a lot of things on the table, but yet even after the debate he said, I wanted to say I got out everything except for the transgressions of Bill Clinton. He didn’t go there because of the respect that he has for Chelsea Clinton. But are you advising him to go there? Is that fair game?

JOY BEHAR: And is it relevant really?

PAULA FARIS: Is it fair game? What does he have to gain?

TRUMP CAMPAIGN MANAGER KELLYANNE CONWAY: I’m not advising him to go there. It’s fair game to think about how Hillary Clinton treated those women. After the fact she called Monica Lewinsky —

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: That’s how about how he treats women all the time.

KELLYANNE CONWAY: That’s talked about all the time, Whoopi. That’s on this show constantly. To answer your question, I can tell you the thing about Donald Trump that I hope you would all give credence to is he is surrounded by strong women. He has employed thousands and thousands of women over the years —

JOY BEHAR:  Let me ask you something about Hillary —

KELLYANNE CONWAY:  And they get promoted. I’m the first female campaign manager for a Republican presidential candidate.

JOY BEHAR: Wouldn’t you turn on the women if your husband was cheating on you? You would turn on them, too, wouldn’t you?

KELLYANNE CONWAY: No, I wouldn’t.

JOY BEHAR: I would.
