Chelsea Clinton became the subject of ridicule across Twitter over the weekend as she asked whether a photograph of Abraham Lincoln wearing a Make America Great Again hat was photoshopped.
Users were quick to reply to Chelsea Clinton as she questioned whether or not the cover of the 2017 Lincoln Day Dinner program for Republican Party of Palm Beach County was photoshopped. The cover featured a classic portrait of Lincoln in black and wearing a large, bright red Make America Great Again hat.
Please tell me this is photoshopped. Please? https://t.co/WezDQx6IvT

Tyler Conway of the Bleacher Report was one of the first to reply:
no this is the exact hat lincoln was wearing when he signed the emancipation proclamation ppl forget that

And other users quickly joined in:
no I think that's the actual Lincoln portrait.

#ProTipsFromQ: Sometimes 'Shopped pics are hard to spot. @ChelseaClinton This one is fake. The Delaware is deeper than a T-Rex's knees. pic.twitter.com/bcrTPrlLz4

I have done some research Chelsea, and discovered that it IS photoshopped. So misleading tho.

Oh yes, Chelsea, it's as fake as the resume you have that earned an "achievement" award.

Clinton later claimed her “sarcasm” about the picture was too subtle:
Clearly the sarcasm directed at the #MAGA rewriting of history was…too subtle? (And Photoshop created in 1988) https://t.co/GmZ2QnQSJK
