Three senior security managers at Uber have left the company following the revelation the company covered-up a data breach.

The Hill reports the senior security managers at Uber resigned from their positions at the company on Friday after the revelation that Uber hid a massive security breach that saw the personal information of 57 million users and drivers stolen. An Uber spokesperson told The Hill that two of the managers would remain at the company until the end of the year to aid in the transition process but that the employees had resigned from the company’s international, business operations, and physical security teams.

The managers who stepped down are Pooja Ashok, who formerly served as the chief of staff for previous Uber chief security officer Joe Sullivan, who was fired after the data breach and subsequent cover-up were exposed; Prithvi Rai, a senior security engineer; and Jeff Jones, who handled physical security at the company.

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi has condemned the actions of Sullivan and the company’s handling of the breach, saying, “None of this should have happened, and I will not make excuses for it.” Multiple countries and U.S. states have begun investigating Uber over their failure to protect their users’ information and the cover-up of the data breach.
