Lubbock Man Pleads Guilty to Producing Child Pornography

77-year-old Dale Wray Fulford, known to friends as “Slaton,” of Lubbock, Texas faces 30 years in prison for repeatedly molesting a minor and recording the acts on a digital camera after entering a guilty plea according to wire reports. According to a February 2014 indictment obtained by Breitbart Texas, the abuse took place over the span of one year.

The indictment stated that the sexual assaults were “produced using materials that had been mailed, shipped, and transported in interstate and foreign commerce.”

According to the Associated Press (AP), Fulton gave money to the young girl’s parents and watched her at his residence on numerous occasions.

Fulton also reportedly gave the girl his ex-wife’s wedding ring.

Fulford pled guilty to one count of child porn production, according to wire reports. He is still facing charges relating to the sexual assault of a child. The AP reported that Fulford will remain in jail until his sentencing.

Numerous cases of child molestation have occurred in Texas January 2014. As Breitbart Texas reported earlier this month, 49-year-old Homer Ortiz of Pharr was arrested after allegedly forcing a one-year-old into sexual acts. According to Pharr police reports, a family friend of Ortiz reportedly witnessed the sexual abuse taking place in the kitchen area of the 49-year-old’s residence.

Ortiz was ultimately charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault. His bond has been set at $500,000.
