MS-13 Gang Member Illegal Alien Arrested in Texas

HOUSTON, Texas–A member of the Mara Salvatrucha gang (MS-13), a group notorious for being hyper-violent, was recently arrested La Grulla, Texas.

The gang member is a tattooed 26-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, according to KRGV. Previous to his most recent arrest, he had apparently entered the U.S. illegally twice before.

He was reportedly apprehended–along with several other illegal immigrants–after a police officer pulled over a car for a traffic violation.

The officer told KRGV, “I observed that the rear passenger had some tattoos on his elbow. Once I confronted him about them, he stated he was a gang member. Once I asked him to lift up his shirt, that’s where I observed he had MS-13 tattooed on his chest and his back.”

“This department, we have never seen MS-13 gang members,” he reportedly added. “We’ve seen our local gangs, you know, Vallucos and other gangs, but not MS-13.”

The police officer said that the gang member showed aggression during the confrontation. Border Patrol was called to the scene for assistance, and ultimately took the individual into custody.

Sergeant Springer of the Seguin Police Department–where officers deal with gang members on a regular basis–told Breitbar Texas, “Tattoos tell gang members’ stories, what their job is, and which gang they belong to. Most people who join these gangs do it because it gives them something to belong to. Gangs will deal with anything that is illegal.”
