Quarantined Individuals to be Relocated from Ebola Apartment

HOUSTON, Texas — A HAZMAT contractor is expected to clean up the apartment where the Dallas Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan, was staying prior to being quarantined at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. In addition, the individuals quarantined in the apartment where Duncan was staying will be relocated.

Sana Syed, a Public Information Officer with the City of Dallas told Breitbart Texas but the cleanup operation is expected to take 40 minutes total, but added that the process has not started yet.

Duncan’s girlfriend, and several other individuals who are currently quarantined in the apartment unit, will be moved to another non-medical apartment after the cleaning is complete. Their vehicle will additionally be towed from the scene, Breitbart Texas has learned.

According to CNN, linens soiled with sweat of the Ebola patient remain in the residence at this time.

Reports state that the individuals quarantined in the apartment have not shown signs of Ebola.

Employees with the company Clean Guys Environmental (CGE) were near the apartment complex around 9 p.m. on Thursday. A CGE employee told Breitbart Texas that all workers entering the apartment will be dressed in full body suits.

American Red Cross were also on the scene Thursday night donating blankets and cots to the individuals currently in the quarantined unit.
