Protesters Gather in New York, Block Manhattan Bridge

As the nation braces for a second night of Anarchy in Ferguson Missouri, hundreds of protesters in New York have taken to the streets calling for justice.

In New York City, protesters gathered New York time Square, at the intersection of FDR Drive and Houston Street and have also taken over the Manhattan Bridge halting all traffic, the New York Fire Department said through their social media page stating that police officers were calling for additional manpower to control the crowds.

The protesters are asking that Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson face criminal charges for having shot Michael Brown in what a grand jury ruled a justified shooting.

On Monday night, rioters took to the streets in Ferguson looting businesses, firing weapons into the air and torching various buildings leading to 61 arrests.
