The suspicious behavior of a man wearing bloody clothing and body armor drew the attention of Montgomery County, Texas, law enforcement officials who later arrested the man. Christopher Longoria, 27, was reportedly circling the Porter, Texas, Walmart in an SUV and was seen wearing a camouflaged jacket and body armor.

Two Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies and a Precinct 4 constable’s deputy cautiously approached Longoria and detained him, according to a report on KTRK 13 in Houston. As deputies approached Longoria, he allegedly opened the door of his vehicle and reached into the SUV. The deputies drew their weapons and ordered him to stop his actions. Executing felony stop procedures, the deputies ordered him to place his hands on his head and walk backwards towards them.

A pat down search revealed Longoria was carrying a small pistol, according to the report. They also allegedly found a pill bottle containing Hydrocodone in his shirt pocket and a sunglass case he was wearing around his neck contained a small digital scale and clear baggies containing methamphetamine.

A search of Longoria’s SUV allegedly revealed multiple boxes of ammunition, a mask, rifle bipods, loose ammunition and more baggies with methamphetamine residue inside them.

Longoria’s shirt was covered in blood according to the deputies. When asked about the blood, Longoria replied it was his own blood and that he had been shot two days before. He claimed he was shot at a gas station in Harris County (Houston area) and he did not know why he was shot.

A check of Longoria’s record revealed he was a convicted felon with two prior felony convictions. The Houston resident was charged with a first-degree felony charge of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance (penalty group 1) with more than four grams but less than two hundred grams; a third-degree felony of possession of a controlled substance (penalty group 3) with more than twenty-eight grams but less than two hundred grams; and a third-degree felony for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
