Loose Pit Bulls Attack Texas Woman with Over 40 Bites

A Texas woman is recovering after receiving over 40 bites from two pit bulls in her Dallas-area neighborhood. The dogs caused the woman to be hospitalized and left her traumatized. The victim spent a reported four days in the hospital after the brutal attack.

While the two suspected dogs involved in the incident were picked up by animal services, many neighbors said they are far from being at ease.

Derrick Bealer said he won’t go for a walk around the neighborhood with a golf club for protection from loose dogs.

“We really don’t even want to sit outside,” Bealer said. “When we do come out you have to look around and make sure that the coast is clear.”
