ICE Deports Illegal Alien Wanted for Murder in Mexico

PHOENIX, AZ – Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials deported an illegal alien who was wanted on murder charges in his native country of Mexico.

Juan Garica-Rendon, 38, was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Tuesday after being released from federal prison where he was serving a 5-month sentence for illegal reentry into the U.S., according to a statement from ICE.

Mexican authorities wanted Garcia-Rendon for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of a man in December 2009 in the Oaxacan city of Ejutla de Crespo.

ICE transferred Garcia-Rendon into the custody of Mexican authorities at the Nogales DeConcini Port of Entry on Wednesday.

Henry Lucero, the field office director for ERO Phoenix, said, “Fugitives who commit egregious crimes in their home country should not expect to find refuge in the U.S.”

Garcia-Rendon has been deported numerous times from the U.S. dating back to 2004 and has served multiple prison sentences for illegal reentry.

Breitbart Texas has reported extensively on previously deported illegal aliens who later illegally re-entered the U.S. to commit horrific acts of violence. One of the most notable recent examples involves the murder of 10-year-old Kayla Gomez-Orozco.
