Former President Carter seems to be softening his assessment of the Bush Administration. Over the weekend he had described the Bush presidency as the “worst in history” in terms of it’s impact on the other nations of the world. Today Carter told the Today Show that his remarks were “maybe careless of misinterpreted.” Carter said he had only been comparing the foreign policies of the Bush administration and the Nixon administration.
