Epilepsy Action warned that 23,000 mainly young people in the UK were at risk from watching an ad that featured an animated version of the symbol for the 2012 Olympics. According to The Sun, “Olympics bosses were left squirming with embarrassment after an epilepsy group reported 12 cases of people collapsing through looking at it.” More than 27,000 people have signed a petition to scrap the logo, which cost more than $800,000.
