Joseph Fritzl took several trips to Thailand. The Telegraph reports that on one occasion he left his daughter and children in the windowless cellar for almost a month. A friend who accompanied Fritzl to Thailand told the Telegraph, “While we would all sit around the hotel bar enjoying a few quiet drinks, he was off on his own.
We did not speak about where he went but it was pretty obvious that he had another agenda in mind.”
