Politico: MSNBC is adding another liberal voice to its evening line-up: The network has hired radio host Ed Schultz to take over the 6 p.m. spot currently held by David Shuster. On Monday, “The Ed Show” will premiere.
A network source confirms the move, and it’s expected that Keith Olbermann will make an announcement toward the end of “Countdown†tonight—he gave a couple hints at the start of the show. (Schultz, on his website, mentioned appearing on “Countdown” later).
