'Fast & Furious' Nets $72.5 Million to Drive Box Office

Bloomberg: “Fast & Furious†is the first film from General Electric Co.’s NBC Universal to open at No. 1 this year and is the fourth in the series about illegal street racing. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, stars of the original “The Fast and the Furious,†return for the first time since the original film to reprise their roles for the latest version. Diesel made a cameo appearance in “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift†in 2006.
