ITN: Iran’s president has ordered his country’s judiciary to ensure that an Iranian-American journalist jailed for spying is given the legal right to defend herself, according to reports.
The letter from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office to Tehran’s prosecutor has been published a day after Roxana Saberi was sentenced to eight years in jail for spying for the United States.
